The Regal Park complex consists of 72 privately owned apartments. It is located in the community of Renfrew in Calgary and is known as the most prestigious complex in the area.
The project involves removing the existing, dated vinyl siding and on some buildings it also requires the removal of cedar or stucco or both that exist behind the vinyl. Once the exterior walls were properly stripped, a moisture barrier was installed with Ener-air R6 insulation placed overtop, followed by the new two-tone grey vinyl siding to provide effective insulation in a contemporary modern look. The project is finished with new window, door, and wall trim cladding with the final phase being the installation of continuous aluminum eavestroughs and downspouts. The project is expected to continue into March 2017.
